CoinVoice has learned that, according to Jin10 and reported by CCTV, on the 25th local time, U.S. President Trump stated to reporters on Air Force One that tariffs on China would not be lifted unless China makes substantial concessions. Over the past week, the U.S. side has been sending mixed and even contradictory signals regarding the tariff issue with China.

The spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy in the United States emphasized on the evening of the 25th that there have been no consultations or negotiations between China and the U.S. regarding the tariff issue, let alone reaching an agreement. If the U.S. side truly wants to resolve the issue through dialogue and negotiations, it should correct its mistakes, stop the threats and coercion, and completely cancel all unilateral tariff measures against China. It is not the correct way to engage with China to say that an agreement is to be reached while continuously applying extreme pressure; this approach is also unfeasible.
