TON announces the official closure of the Toncoin Bridge on May 10, 2025.
Wu said that TON announced that it will officially close the Toncoin Bridge, which has been in operation for nearly 4 years, on May 10, 2025, and users will no longer be able to transfer Toncoin from TON to Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain through the bridge, but the previous cross-chain assets can still be claimed. The Bridging function from Toncoin to TON will be retained for the time being, and the termination time will be announced separately in the future.
