Hesperides University launches the first Spanish master's program in Bitcoin.

Hesperides University has announced the launch of a pioneering Master's program in Bitcoin, aimed at cultivating professionals who master the economic, legal, and technical foundations of Bitcoin.

According to an exclusive press release to Bitcoin Magazine, Hesperides University, known for its classical liberal academic philosophy, has launched its first-ever Spanish-language master's program focused entirely on Bitcoin. Launching on April 28, 2025, the all-online course aims to provide students with the technical, economic, legal, and philosophical tools they need to lead the Bitcoin era.

"Without a sound education, we will continue to face misunderstandings and underutilization of Bitcoin's potential. This project aims to bridge this gap by cultivating talents who can responsibly and professionally participate in the Bitcoin ecosystem," said project director and author of "The Philosophy of Bitcoin," Álvaro D. María.

The Bitcoin Master's program adopts an interdisciplinary design, covering the philosophy, history, economics, technology, regulation, and business development of Bitcoin. The program promises to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Bitcoin—not just as a speculative asset, but as a transformative currency network.

"Bitcoin is the most important monetary revolution in decades - it will shape our future. We must be prepared to use it to defend our freedom against state power.
