Wu said that Aptos officially announced that as a digital wallet provider for the 2025 Osaka World Expo in Japan, it has processed more than 558,000 transactions in the first week and added 133,000 new accounts. The Aptos Horizon project team visited the Expo during the opening week and was amazed by the importance and scale of the venues, with each national pavilion showcasing its innovative technology, architecture and cultural features, and was expected to take a week to tour all of the pavilions. The expo will run until October and is expected to serve more than 28 million visitors, and Aptos plans to push its technology even further.
