Crypto Assets Market Outlook: Market Direction, Token Differentiation, and Future Opportunities
As the weekend approaches, I have more time to think about market trends. I believe the true trend of the crypto assets market will not become clear until after September. Considering factors such as macroeconomic resistance, summer liquidity constraints, and quarterly rebalancing, substantial market changes may only occur after the August holiday ends and participants return to the market. Recent market activities show that the rise of most altcoins is mainly due to short squeezes. Traders are influenced by previous rebounds to chase prices, but there is a lack of support from long-term holders. As expected, most tokens that surged experienced similarly severe pullbacks afterwards.
Ethereum has experienced an unexpected rebound, and sectors that were previously hit hardest, such as AI and coins, are leading this wave of recovery. In contrast, Tokens with practical use, solid fundamentals, or buyback mechanisms have shown stronger resilience and recovery ability, such as Syrup, Hype, and AAVE.
