Litecoin and Yunbi trademarks will be auctioned, with a starting price of 100,000 yuan each.
On April 14th, an asset bidding network platform under a certain e-commerce platform announced an eye-catching auction information. The platform will start the auction for two trademarks related to Crypto Assets: Litecoin and Yunbi at 10 AM on April 17th.
According to the public auction information, the Litecoin trademark includes categories 9 and 36, and will be auctioned as a whole, with a starting price set at 100,000 RMB. At the same time, the starting price for the Yunbi trademark (category 41) is also set at 100,000 RMB. The bidding for both trademarks requires a deposit of 10,000 RMB.
It is worth noting that the registrants of these two trademarks are Shenzhen Yuanwei Cultural Co., Ltd. Among them, the registration date of the Litecoin trademark is July 14, 2015, while the registration of the Yunbi trademark was completed on September 28, 2015.
The trademark auction has attracted widespread attention in the Crypto Assets industry. Litecoin, as a well-known Crypto Asset, its trademark auction may have potential impacts on related enterprises and projects. At the same time, the auction of the Yunbi trademark also reflects that the commercial value of the digital asset field is receiving increasing attention.
With the continuous development of blockchain and crypto assets technology, the value of related intellectual property is becoming increasingly prominent. This trademark auction may signify that the crypto assets industry is entering a more mature and regulated stage, where brand protection and intellectual property management will become key issues for industry participants to focus on.
For companies or individuals intending to participate in the bidding, this is undoubtedly a rare opportunity. However, potential buyers also need to carefully assess the actual value and future application prospects of these trademarks, as well as the legal risks and regulatory challenges they may face when considering the bidding.
