Bitcoin will be traded at 36 public companies by the end of the year.
Blockware Intelligence predicts that by the end of 2025, at least 36 publicly traded companies will add Bitcoin to their balance sheets, an increase of about 25% from the current 141 companies. By 2025, the number of listed companies holding Bitcoin has increased by 120%. Michael Saylor is leading with 597.325 BTC, 12 times more than the second company, MARA Holdings.
Although interest in Bitcoin is increasing, the new companies participating are mainly newly established or struggling companies. Analyst James Check warns that the Bitcoin fund strategy may have a shorter lifespan than expected. A report from Bitwise Asset Management shows that interest from companies in Bitcoin reached a record high in Q2 2025, with 159,107 BTC added to the balance sheet.
