Latest developments in the FTX bankruptcy case: Users from 49 countries may not be compensated, with the highest proportion of claims coming from China.

On July 2nd, the latest court documents in the FTX bankruptcy case disclosed a widely followed list: users from 49 countries and regions may not be able to receive any compensation.

These countries are listed as "potentially restricted jurisdictions" for reasons including: local laws prohibit cryptocurrency trading; local laws do not allow platform operators to provide services to the local area.

In these restricted countries, over 82% of the claimed amounts come from China. This means that most Chinese users may not be able to recover their funds from this globally shocking bankruptcy case.
