On the afternoon of May 15, the Ministry of Commerce held a regular press conference. He Yongqian, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce: Regarding the Section 232 tariffs on imported automobiles, steel and aluminum, and the Section 232 investigation launched by the US on imported drugs, China believes that the US is a typical unilateral and protectionist act, which not only harms the rights and interests of other countries, undermines the rules-based multilateral trading system, but also does not benefit the development of its own industry.
