Odaily Planet Daily News NYDIG Global Head of Research Greg Cipolaro said in a recent research report that even if Trump is inaugurated on January 20, he 'will also cautiously look forward to the prospect of immediate changes in cryptocurrency policy'. He said the inauguration brought new hope for the new government to fulfill many of its campaign promises, adding that "many promises can be realized quickly, but some promises may take some time."

Cipolaro said: "The new government still needs to appoint key officials. The appointed officials need to go through a confirmation process, and once confirmed, they will need to assemble staff." Other important encryption legislation, such as the FIT21 bill passed in the House of Representatives last May and stablecoin legislation, 'may take some time to pass' because conservative and free-market legislative bodies 'may not be willing to compromise on certain issues as they did when the liberals controlled the Senate.' Cipolaro believes that 'the implementation of these measures may be a priority, while geopolitical conflicts, budget and debt ceilings, global trade and tariffs, and immigration issues may be more pressing.'
