BlockBeats news, on July 24, according to data from the validator queue tracking website validatorqueue, approximately 644,300 ETH (valued at $2.34 billion at current prices) are currently queued to exit the network, marking the largest exit queue size since January 2024, with withdrawal latency extended to 11 days and 4 hours. Meanwhile, there are currently 332,000 ETH (valued at $1.2 billion) waiting to enter the network, with the admission queue extending to over 5 days and 18 hours, setting a new record since April 2024. Figment co-founder Andy Cronk previously stated: "When prices rise, people unstake and sell to lock in profits, observing that both retail investors and institutions follow this pattern over multiple cycles." The SEC has further boosted institutional interest in Ethereum by declaring that staking is not illegal. Data shows that the number of active validators has increased by 54,000 since late May, reaching a historical high of nearly 1.1 million.
