Three Bitcoin wallets are believed to belong to the same whale that just transferred a total of 10,603 BTC (, approximately 1.26 billion USD), after many years of inactivity, according to Lookonchain citing data from Arkham. All three wallets received BTC on December 13, 2020, when the price was around 18,000 USD. Two wallets have remained silent until now, while the third wallet had previously transferred 7 BTC three years ago.

On Tuesday night, all three wallets simultaneously transferred the entire amount of BTC to three new, undetermined addresses, and the new wallets have not had any subsequent activity. Although the ownership is not certain, all three wallets previously interacted with a common address.

Previously, a Satoshi-era whale also moved over 80,000 BTC after 13 years, transferring to Galaxy Digital, possibly to prepare for a sale. This move comes as Bitcoin continues to maintain its upward momentum, currently trading around 118,800 USD.
