Elon Musk denies the $300 million partnership agreement between xAI and Telegram
Billionaire Elon Musk confirmed that there is no official agreement between his AI company xAI and the messaging platform Telegram regarding the integration of the Grok AI chatbot, contrary to the previous statement made by Telegram CEO Pavel Durov.
Previously, Durov announced that Telegram would integrate Grok into its platform, while also receiving a partnership package worth 300 million USD comprising cash and equity, along with 50% of the revenue from xAI subscriptions through Telegram.
However, Musk responded on X that "no deal has been signed." Later, Durov confirmed that the agreement had only been reached in principle and was awaiting the completion of the final documents.
This information indicates that there are still many steps to be taken before the two parties officially cooperate.
