The UK proposes to set country-specific quotas on steel imports.

Jin10 Data reported on May 14 that the UK's Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) suggested on Tuesday that a country-specific quota limit should be implemented for certain categories of steel imported into the UK to help protect the UK steel production industry. The government agency stated in a release that the quota limit measures will take effect on October 1 of this year.
