When you turn on Tips on your profile, people can support you by tapping on your Tips icon to send you money or Bitcoin off-platform via the third-party payment services and platforms you have added.

So here are 3 quick steps on your way to setting up Tips on Twitter:
1. Toggle Allow Tips
On iOS or Android, go to Edit Profile and then tap Tips, which is off by default. You will be required to consent to Twitter’s General Tipping policy to turn on Tips on your profile.
These steps will lead you to the following page that has the title “Tips.” You can now toggle “Allow Tips.”
### 2. Add Payment Service
Once you have toggled Allow tips, you can simply then choose the third-party service(s) you’d like to use.
It’s no stress as Twitter will reveal the payment services available to you.
### 3. Enter Payment Address
Once you select a Payment service, you will be required to enter the username associated with that account.
For example, for Chipper Cash or Patreon, you will required to enter your usernames. Alternatively, you can enter your Bitcoin address like I chose to do:
